When a person has a reduction in blood flow to the brain it may cause syncope also called fainting.
Cause of syncope
Due to neurally mediated fainting, there is a simultaneous drop in heart rate and widening of blood vessels. It causes pooling of blood in legs and flow of blood in the brain.
there are numbers of causes of it like hot environments, severe pain, emotional distress. And some others are severe coughing, urinating, the sight or smell of something unpleasant or opening of bowels.

Treatment of fainting depends on its underlying causes.
The people with this syncope should watch the warning sign of fainting. Such as headedness, sweating or ringing of the bell in ears. Then they have to try to lie down preferably with legs elevated. If it is not possible then sit down at the first warning sign.
There are some treatments that help you to temporarily increase blood pressure. And avoid collapse are squeezing the calf muscles or buttock together. People need to avoid situations which cause trigger fainting. Other treatments are required such as medication for it. It can be caused due to many things such as heart disease then specific treatment arranged for that problem. The appropriate treatment will be advised by the doctor in your case.
